    Thanks Dale.
That's only a small sampling of my deeeeeeeelicious noodles.
I think I should have rolled them thinner. Maybe next time.
No, I do not own a pasta maker nor do I want one.

    Welcome. I love homemade noodles.

Is that an aardvark in a dress at the top of the photo?

Jon, it was just Forrest and I for Thanksgiving dinner. I didn't cook all of the noodles, though. The rest will go into the homemade soup I'm cooking right now.

Dale, that is a goat, I'm surprised you didn't recognize it as such.

Well, I don't know what's wrong. I can't imagine the noodles had anything to do with it, but you never know.

    Can you hear me now?

That's an aardvark. Mary Jane called it a goat 'cause she's never seen an aardvark.

Nice noodles, MJ. Hope you don't mind me adding my picture to your thread. This is my big work of art for Thanksgiving. It's a "Cranberry Obsession Snow cake" that was featured on the cover of Sunset magazine this year. The middle layer is a cranberry/cherry concoction and it's covered by a white chocolate frosting and sprinkled with white choc. and powdered sugar. It took me 2 1/2 hours over 2 days to make. Yes, I know I didn't clean off the cake plate for the photo. Sue me. It's probably the most expensive cake for ingredients that I've ever baked and the most time consuming. And the final product..."eh". I won't be making it again. Luckily, the kids like it and have been eating it.

That looks great, Candace. I had the obligatory pumpkin pie with homemade whipped cream.
For the last three years, I've told anyone who would listen that all I wanted for my birthday was a chocolate cream pie. Obviously, I've not told the right people, I've yet to get one. I swear next year, I am not mentioning it and will make my own damned birthday pie.

    *sniffle*
