Well the boys got their nuts cut off Tuesday!!!:evil::clap: Dryfus did well and is fine. Mallikie had some weirdo post-surgical things going on when I got him home so I ended up taking him to the crappy vet school after hours. Two of the three medications they gave me made the situation worse. <surprizzze, surprizzze,,,,I hate that place> Anyways, apparently Mallie has genetically carried canine von Willebrand's Disease so his blood doesn't clot right. Look at this. There was first just a dime to quarter-sized spot that looked a little like a hematoma on the side shown in the first picture and it just grew and grew and grew. Does that look like a simple castration to you? Poor dog. He is giving me dirty looks I tell ya. The only med he can still have are the pain killers unless we figure out something else tomorrow.

Poor bugger, with all that swelling it doesn't look like a castration at all - looks like everything is still in there and it looks sore! .....

Poor Mallikie - poor boy :(

I did that for you Jon :poke:Just so you would know what it looks like to have an ugly empty scrotum full up with blood. :evil:Its not swelling, its blood. Least that is what the ultrasound showed. Who the F told me this year was gonna be better? If I remember who it was, I'mma gonna smack you up side the head. ;)

Well he got new meds today (after like forever), that are appropriate for his 'condition' and is doing sorta better. He has the fricking treatement color off and seems ok with leaving it alone. Since the bad meds were stopped it isn't spreading and he is such a sweetheart.....We will do more genetic tests for his disorder when he is 'well'.

No, I'm not gonna drain it and start more bleeding. Just trying to stabilize things right now.

Eh, don't worry about the photos, we're big kids here.
I will wish with all of my might that this is the last crapola thing to happen to you or the pupdogs for the next 27 years.

I ain't worried bout no pictures. LOL. The bleeding, and evidence of it, cleared up super fast after the wrong meds, from the vet school were given and I had them replaced. Good new, eh?
