    I am not a huge fan of jewel orchids (only have one) but this one has caught my eye lately. I have only seen photos of it. Does any one know where I could find it? I haven't called or emailed any vendors yet but I haven't seen any for sale on-line.

    That's a gorgeous species and certainly eye catching. I know of one foreign vendor who had it on their price list but it wasn't available when I made an order. NT Orchids was the vendor but their website has been down for some time.

    Kelly, try to get in touch with Erich Michel. He got most, if not all, of Hoosier Orchids' flasks when they closed, and he had a bunch of unusual jewel orchids at a show two years ago.

    Who would have thought a heavy metal band would get their name on an orchid? (I know, I know, it almost surely has nothing to do with the band, but it is a fun idea)

    Erich is very hard to get a hold of. You might try Andy's Orchids too.
