Ok... so I am comfortable with PCs, and I can make them work pretty well for me. I've always had bad luck with Apple products (I'm on my 7th iPhone, I think). But I have to give props to the marketing folks at Apple. Those PC vs Mac commercials are fantastic.

They're OK, but nothing you're gonna see nominated on the Cleo Awards. Carl's Jr on the other hand.... They need to award Oscars to those.

I've only had one 6 months, but I've only had the one. It is still working fine. How long have you had an iPhone and what has been wrong with 7 of them?

1 was stolen, and I've had to exchange all the others. Wifi didn't work well, Bluetooth failed, unexpected reboots, hardware failures, etc. I just have terrible experience with the iPhone. It's a love/hate kind of relationship. I've had the current one for about a year. I gave up on trying to get one that worked as well as it should. This one is about to die, but I haven't been very nice to it either. I'll probably get another one when it goes to India to get recycled.

I like the Ocean spray commercials. They remind me of a couple friends of mine.

One of the IT guys I know has a picture of the PC guy pointing a gun at the MAC guy, saying simply "Shut Up."

Well, Jon, I am an Apple person. I'm not a fanboy by any means, they do make mistakes, and I get appropriately pissed when something doesn't work. They aren't perfect by any means, but they are way closer than a PC. My two Mac notebooks have been near invincible.

Oh, and I'm still on iPhone number 1.

Hey man... I've had this laptop for 4.5 years, and I've had no problems. I've had my desktop for 7 years, and it's still working well (or so I assume, I haven't used it since I've been back). Macs & PCs are built for different purposes, and I know my way around a PC. I can make it work pretty well for me. Though I suspect that's because I pay attention to what I'm doing with it, and I don't install every program that I've ever been offered...

I for one have never bought into the Apple hype. I have had many PC's over the last 16 years and I have got good service out of all of them. They just stole the Apple idea from The Beatles so they are sh*t in my book for ever. iTunes sucks by the way as does Quicktime.

I laugh at the last class I audited. There were 3 students with Apples. They could never find where there files were stored.

I'm happily plunking away on my new MacBook Pro 15" laptop. My G4 died last week at 7 years old. May she RIP. Hubby sells PC's for a living and we have only had Apples in our house. Kind of tells you something;>
