Lycaste Auburn 'Ditchling' AM/AOS

    This is stunning (if I do say so myself). The flowers are 6" wide and there are 11 spikes coming from one pseudobulb. No fragrance, but very long lasting. I grow it 56F minimum, no dry rest.

    This is a hybrid, not a species.

    Thanks, all. It has not been repotted for 4 years, so I have to do it. This last pseudobulb was so much bigger than previous years, I think it likes the slightly warmer temperatures than I had before. This is the best blooming I've had, plus the fact that I got most staked up before they fell over under the weight of the flowers.

    Seems like a color combo that is not too common in Lycaste. Really great!

    It is just as nice as SPECIES enen for species growers. Well bloomed.
