Lycaste aromatica

    I rarely see Lycaste mounted but I gave it a go with this one. It seems to like it very well. Grown intermediate, mounted on a tree fern slab, grown brighter than generally recommended, year-round water but reduced in winter. Sometimes the fragrance is like spicy cinnamon and other times it smells like menthol.:confused:

    Very nice! My dad always had a potted aromatica around the house when I was little, we used to pretend the pseudobulbs were bananas. :p The blooms look great spilling off that mount.
