Lycaste angelae

    This is related to or synonymous with Lycaste brevispatha. This clone is 'B.E.N'. It came from Ben Berliner but the B.E.N refers to an organization/conservation group in Central America (I believe it is Costa Rica) where Ben originally got it decades ago as Lyc brevispatha

    Marni, I just made a pre-order for L. brevispatha (angelae) 'Ben' from Andy's which I hope is nice and dark. I love these guys. I appreciate the background information that you posted above. I would have assumed 'Ben' was the person and not a place.

    Kelly, Henry Oakeley has separated it into its own species angelae.
