A friend made me aware of the beer and when I looked in the beer aisle today, I was surprised to see they had it. I steeled my nerve and tried it after nap-time today. Not a big surprise, but it was beyond godawful. The chicken was Nepenthe to my spirit, as always, and proof that God loves me in spite of the fact that I sometimes overbid my pinochle hand

I think dining out has a really nice ring to it.

UGH!!! That's not a Chelada. That's just plain disgusting.

My favorite recipe for it: Salt the rim of a pint glass, add a tablespoon of Cholula hot sauce, a teaspoon of lime juice and pour in a Dos Equis.

I think the gizzards would do me in before the beer did

Next time you're at the farm Jon, don't accept anything that's already in a glass

Maybe there is a Trader Joe's just outside of Bandon. Given a frozen entree, a microwave oven and 7 minutes I can take charge.

When I go into the field, I always take granola bars and trail mix. Pretty much the same objective here.

If I ever make my way out to your place, Dale, let's have geezards, okay?? But none of that fishy beer.
