Lepanthes caprimulgus is found in Ecuador and Central Peru in cool cloud forests at altitudes from 1600 to 2330 metres as a cool to temperate growing epiphyte. With me it's outside in the summer and in my orchidarium from Octobre tot April/May. Temps in Winter are about 11°C tot 20°C.
