Over the past few days I've noticed a hand full of plants lost a few leaves. The few plants that lost their leaves all lost them within a day of one another. I'm guessing it's a temp issue. The green house is not colder than before but the low temp of 60 gets hit earlier in the evening and lasts later into the morning than just a few weeks ago. Also the lighting is different, actually a little brighter in certain spots but the plants that lost the leaves the light is still the same. Does anyone agree it's a temp issue or different lighting or combo of the two and, since were still reletively new to greenhouse growing, is it something that is expected when there is such a drastic seasonal change? None of the plants are deciduous by the way. Thanks!

Can you tell us which species are losing leaves? That would be helpful.

I think Forrest is right on with the water temp. I left the hose that feeds the Ro system on over night a few nights ago and it's been in the 30's so the water temp was mid 50's! Water temp didn't even cross my minds, thanks Forrest.

Bulbo aestivale longilabre and microglossum were three that I noticed all lost a few leaves the same day.

Yes it is. Were upgrading our RO system and were going to put an aquarium water heater into our storage tank so it doesn't happen again.

Zach, It is quite amazing to see two brothers got hooked on orchids. Are you both gowing orchids in the same gh?

Yes we are, we finished building it last year around this time. We were running out of window space!
