    many of my orchids, all Hibiscus and one Plumeria are Thrip magnets.
    i go for the kill but they are tougher to beat back than spider mites !!
    i look back fondly on the days when white fly's were a menace.

    lesion and scrape like marks on the flowers, lip that is twisted and stuck on itself
    flower parts all S.N.A.F.U.ed

    i did not sign up to be a Thrip Farmer

    what has been used to beat them down - chemically ?
