Lanium avicula

    I got this in a trade in Spring '07 and this is the first time I got it to bloom for me. It has 4 spikes that are branching with 12-15 flowers per spike. I grow this one warm giving it strong cattleya light.

    That's pretty cool. I've never heard of that genus before

    Interesting. I've got a lanium(don't remember the specie) but it looks similar to this one. And I've wanted to see a full plant/bloom photo. Thanks for posting. Now I can know what to expect.
