L Purpurata Carnea is still in bloom in the greenhouse. Bought at the July Santa Barbara Orchid Fair from the folks at Eco Orquideas. It was bareroot then with a small sheath starting; must think that it is still in the Southern Hemisphere. Gave it some L Perrinii pollen yesterday, we'll see of it takes, if so maybe a nice Lucy Ingram.

Very intense color for a carnea. Good growing.
