I've had this phal for a few years now and it impresses me every year with an impressive spray of flowers...

However, three of the bottom leaves have yellowed, withered, and fallen off...

I haven't changed anything in terms of water/sunlight/airflow.

the leaves have small white/rust speckles patches, but I can't seem to figure out what's wrong.

    Help?

I think that might be a case of Mites?

I agree that mites would be a suspect. Frequently with mites you can see a silvery characteristic on the back of the leaves. Sometimes even some webbing. They are sucking insects that attack from the underside. Lower humidity will sometimes make them mulitply faster. Once you have them you may need to use a miticide to get them under control.

Thank you!! I've made a solution of alcohol, 409, and water and soaked the upper and undersides of all the leaves...

    Do I wash it off?

I've not used that, but I think both will evaporate so I would probably just leave it there. You will need to follow up in 7 to 10 days to catch any that hatch after the spray. And then one more after that to be safe.
