A delightful Jumellea but I'm doubting the label. Acquired as J. major but the forwardly reflexed sepals & petals don't match the keys & descriptions I can find. Plant is similar to J. arachnantha but then a lot of Jumelleas are; flower size is similar as well but J. arachnantha flowers are decidedly flat and this is anything but. I'd welcome any thoughts on an ID.

That is an oddball. Are there other flowers showing the same characteristics?

Yes - all of the flowers are the same. No distortions, no differences between flowers - clean & neat. I kinda like it.
