    It sits in a pot with very coarse pine bark in the shaded (with reed mats) greenhouse. I water everything once a day in the evening, so humidity is high (100%) at night and dropps down to 30-40% on hot days and I have a fan going all the time to keep the air moving.

    Leo - thanks for the details. I've been considering switching my watering to night, from early morning, after seeing evening showers while I was in Kenya, and hotter, drier days.

    That's right, although during the wets e.g. in Westafrica it rains at any time of the day. More importantly for me to water in the evening is simply because I have the time for it then :D In winter I used to water in the morning to get at least a slight chance that everything dries again at all...
