Jumellea gracilipes

    First bloom on this Malala plant I've had for quite a few years. The bud popped up out of the moss at the base much lower than I would have expected. And it developed really quickly. I expect it to whiten up. The bud only opened yesterday.

    Very sweet looking bloom....what do you have that growing in?

    It's mostly hydroton pellets with some sphag here and there which has turned to live moss on top. I recently added marble chips to quite a few plants and maybe that's why this one bloomed. :confused: It has been in a s/h pot for years but pretty much sulked until recently.

    As it opened only yesterday, maybe it will become more white in a few days...??
