In situ, Bulbophyllum medusae

    Living in the equatorial region give us the easy access to wild orchids all year round.
    Bulbophyllum medusae is a very common species throughout the lowlands. Diurnal temp is 23 C to 35 C and the humidity of 85% all year round . It is a free flowering where the colonies flower every months. 2022-12-25_0-23-29.png It can be found in the towns and cities throughout Malaysia

    This colony blooms 3 months ago based on the brown seed pods

    I love seeing the seedpods! They surprised me as I've never seen this species' before - though I can't imagine I would have expected them to look any different.

    The locals do not bother much about the plants , at times the raintree branches broke off after the storms and thousands of these orchids fell to the ground cleared of by the cleaners and dumped by the road side . A sad situation , I tried to save as much but just to many
