Dew fun is cleaning up yucky litter that is WET and sour with feed & POO & maggots & NOID thingamajiggers...makes good compost though

"sweet & creamy" - yeah right - false advertising :)

I know all about the "yucky" part. That's all I've been doing for a month and a half. I have a trail through my woods that I've been putting the waste straw on. Seems to be a good spot for it so far.

Ya might want to look into something to sprinkle on that pile to help with composting. Chicken compost is some stinky shit.
You know, like the stuff you use to get rid of bodies..

I keep the coop/chicken run pretty clean. The constant heat dries everything up pretty good so I don't notice any "strong" odors

Oh, you know he was totally egging him on, MJ! Can't you just picture him peeping in on the action, with a big, stupid, proud grin on his face?

I'm so jealous. My two ladies are slow to cooperate. They're due any day now... I do think we're going to add 2 more to the clan next season. Aren't they so entertaining to watch?! Ours are so tame they're actually more like dogs than chickens. Very, stupid dogs.
