    To all,

find attached to pictures of a plant in my collection with the name: Batistonia leitzei.
Oke, I know, it might also be Oncidium or Gomesa. But the main question is, is it a "leitzei".
I have doubts because of the colour patern on the flower. I find pictures on the web, which are yellew with brown spots, while this one is more brown with yellow.

I look forward to your responses.

    Greetings,

As nice as that is, I don't think the Oncidium leitzii identification is correct.

I cannot offer an alternative, but it is reminiscent of a cyrtochilum.

I do believe it is/was a Baptistonia. The cruciform flower is pretty typical and the spindle or conical shape is distinctive. But I don't think it is leitzei. I am attaching my pictures of B. leitzei from some years ago.

How are you growing this. It is doing very well.
