You know Tom Petty was the big band guy at the frat houses when I attend the GATOR NATION school.
Gosh Clark, I had no idea you were a Gator fan.
hey queenie, when should i be there? fried chicken is one of my favorites...
oh, and if you watch king of the hill, did you know tom petty is luann's boyfriend lucky?
I don't watch that show, Bri. I do try to catch Tom on Sirius when I think of it. He plays some fantastic old music.
And you are welcome here anytime. How's Sunday for you? We could watch some football, eat some chicken...it'll be great.
hmmm.... we're suppose to get another 5-10 inches of snow saturday into sunday plus i'll be workin'...
i can probably make it though...
lol, that's the spirit, Bri.
I'll go wait by the paved road right now.
just don't hold your breathe...
you really know how to hurt a girl.
oh, i just meant that it's a few days away still and it's such a long time to hold one's breath!
Oh yeah. That's right, today only feels like Sunday. Whoops.
I'd say GATOR or those little winged one's would both be good wrapped in bacon and then soaked in Teriyaki.
personally, a $5 rotiserie bird from the store beats all the fuss and muss of any home cooked fowl.
Had my little bird on the grill. Layered with House's Spanish Fish Rub. It taste great on chicken too.
I've heard of spanish peanuts and spanish fly but not Spanish fish rub. What is in that, Clark?
you rub a fish up against a spanish guy ..Duh
I don't know. Check out their webstie at www.ashmanco.com You can get some of the rubs at Fresh Market. People have been giving us rubs for the grill for years. There is also Bad Byron's Butt Rub (buttrub.com). His motto is 'A little butt rub makes everything better.'
Hell I'd buy the butt rub just for the motto.
I haven't been to Fresh Market for a while, mostly go to Whole Foods when I want to spend too much money, but I'll run up to Fresh this week and check it out!
So you put the fish rub on a little bird?
What, a sparrow?
Hay, it taste good on fish, poultry and pork.
Anything new to report in here?
MJ, we always rub them with herbs de Provence and bake them - come out fine. Maybe it's just the hens in your area?
I hope she remembered to take them out of the oven. It has been almost 2.5 years since this thread started.
