Its not for old people...(scrapbooking) I started a group of scrappers from my workplace... the best ones are young twenty somethings... it keeps em outa the bar...
I am doing an orchid scrapbook album... I have TONS of photos...
Maybe I'll post some photos of pages...
I include things like temp, difficulty, country of origin--actually for species I've been copying and pasting blurbs from Jay's internet site....
    Also fragrance...
    Anyway, I scrapbook...
I fish too.... lots of fishing here in Alaska...
I took a college photography class recently... I bought a house and moved...got behind in the class--WAY too much homework for a "fun" type class...
    Anyway it was interesting...

I would like to see your scrapbooking, Colleen. Post some photos.

And tell me about the photog class. I've been playing with the idea of doing that recently. I have a nice camera that rarely gets used. well, I did take a photo on Thanksgiving. Homemade noodles on the kitchen counter. :)

You seem a little....... ummmm... evasive. When you make a photo like that, call it 'art'. Nobody'll hardass you about it, then.

I would like to see the photo too..
the class I took was a 5 hour class on thursday nights..beginning photography with adobe cs2... abot 25 hours/week in homework--I couldnt keep up with it and the move... Unfortunate--I WAS enjoying the class...
Now I have the pup-- so maybe next year I'll take her second class...
I'll take some photos of the scrapbook pages... when I have a chance..
It started when I reworked my daughter's baby book... Then I started doing fishing books..then I did a family memories scrapbook after my parents died..there were 27 photos that all the kids (7 of us) each wanted copies of...so I scnned them all and made 8 scrapbooks-- one for my daughter too... gave each of my brothers one the christmas after mom and dad passed...one of my brothers actually cried...
Anyway... I did my Grandbaby's baby book too... its a hobby that is creative and preserves memories.. I like it! Oh it involves shopping too...some of my scrap friends like the shopping as much as the crafting!
