Hi I am in the UK Somerset and devoted to Phals. Been rescuing them from all kinds of places and facing the challenges of nurturing them back to health. really rewarding and fun. Looking for a past-beginners decent reference book which will allow me to start identify different variants, species etc. Can anyone refer me?
    Cheers Jessica

Welcome to the forum. There is Phalaenopsis, A Monograph, by Eric Christenson. It was published in 2001 by Timber Press. There may be something more current, but I'm not aware of it. There is also an extensive website that has a link to a version in English.

    Hi Jessica,

I'm also a noob here and I recently rescued a few phals. I have post with pics of my most damaged rescue.

I have my first growth spike just reaching about 1 inch (2.5 cm). Welcome! I look forward to your tips on rescues!

    Cheers,
    Chris
