    Hi, I'm John and have been growing orchids since 1975. Started out in Connecticut in a greenhouse but retired to SW Florida. I have over 1000 orchids of many genera growing outside in my yard. Several mounted on my palm trees. I have mostly warm to hot growers and lately have focused on species types. But I love them all.

    John, hi.
    A friend has a place in Bonita beach, and I have wondered what types (of orchids) could I grow ,if I lived there.
    Any suggestions?
