    Hello all,
I was lurking for quite some time now so I would like introduce myself :) I'm from Lithuania (Europe), studying Veterinary Medicine. I have a mixed collection but mostly I grow some Angracoids, species Catts, rupicolous Laelias, other species and some primary hybrids.
I grow my orchids inside in winter and outside in a summer greenhouse in warmer months of the year.

    Regards,
    Ignas

Jesus, Mary Jane. He just got here. Can't you let him take his coat off, first?

Since you are studying veterinary medicine, I am going to assume you have pets of your own. Am I correct and what are their names?

At the moment I don’t have any pets in my house, but I had a cat named Micius. We got him as a little kitten about 5 years ago, but last year he died, he got hit by a car (at least I think so) because his spine was broken, he managed to come back home, his back two legs were paralyzed, and he had massive internal bleeding and there was nothing that could be done but only to put him to sleep. He was family member and I still miss him :(
Here are a few older pics (in the first pic he was sleeping ):

MJ do you have any pets ?

Sorry to hear about your little kitty, Ignas. I lost a favorite puss to a car, too. Sucked! I'm still heartbroken about that...

Funny thing, though, I just inherited a ~ 5 week old kitten an hour ago from my neighbor. He rescued her from the jaws of one of his dogs. She looks JUST LIKE the one I lost to the car. I think it's karma and I'm meant to keep her, but with 6 others already under our care, I suspect hubby is going to say, and I quote: "HELL NO." Keep your fingers crossed for me. (I already know he's a softy when it comes to kitties, though. I spied the same kitten yesterday, but she got away before we could find her. Over night we heard a kitten mewling, and we went out with food hoping to find it. Unfortunately, the dog found her first.) She's sleeping peacefully now, after a warm bath and a belly full of food.

    Alrighty, Alexis! Cat lovers, unite!

Ignas, I'm sorry about Micius, he looks like he was a very well tended cat and I'm sure he loved having you as "his human".

I do have pets. Two cats, to be exact. One is Lucy, she's a apple-headed Siamese looking cat. She was found in a warehouse with a litter of kittens. They all found homes except for Lucy; she liked to bite. She doesn't bite now unless people don't listen when she says stop. I speak cat; some people don't.
My other is a long-haired white male named Max aka Carl aka The Big Guy. Gentlest cat I've ever known. Max stays outside mostly, comes inside to sleep in the winter and will come when I whistle for him. He hates thunder storms and loves to sleep on my bed.

I will take photos of them for you as soon as Lucy wakes up and Max comes back in.
