    I grow it in a shallow dish with a bark/perlite mix, on the shady side. I don't think I give this one enough humidity though(that problem is being addressed with the renovation of an old glass house) I have owned it for about 1 year along with Hap. speciosa, they both tend to sulk a bit although this one seems to be a bit more resilient.

    Nice photo angles, Craig. I get so locked in to the full frontal and side views, I often neglect to capture the 3/4 view which is often so much more illustrative of the flower shape and proportion.

    Craig I have noticed the same with the hapalochilus section. They don't like to have theire roots disturbed.
