    First blooming of this species for me. The plant with spike is under 6" tall and even more vibrant a color that shows in the image.

    Stunning. I though roebelinii was white, I wonder where I got this notion.

    Ricardo, I've looked up a few and haven't seen any white ones. I'm sure there is an alba form somewhere.;)

    I remember reading about a species from the phillipines that was split from rhodocheila sometime ago and that was said to have white flowers. But I can't recall the ID of this plant.
