A little excited about this one. Very tiny bulb from Ebay last year. Didn't bloom last year but this year... Yay! It was very hard not to water this bugger last winter. Hab 2.jpg Hab 1.jpg
11 buds, 12 1/4 inches tall. Hope it's a little larger next year but still pleased.

Nice. When did you know to start watering? And did you give it any at all when it was dormant? Temps?

Very nice! Mine is still coming along this season. I assume it will show a spike soon, but who knows.

Thanks you guys! I began watering a little as soon as the first leaf was showing about 1/2 inch above the mix. No water at all before that. Winter temps between 45 and 50 F at night.

Gorgeous - a fantastic species I've tried a few times but failed. To my dismay, a friend who grows no orchids at all manages to not only flower this annually, but multiply his colony, all the while growing it as a windowsill houseplant. o_O
