Hi, in the picture, 2 Habenaria keniensis grows here at around 2,350 masl, doing this year particularly fine because of abundant rains this ongoing rainy season. Some of the early birds already finished flowering with nearly a 100% pollination rate, so I am hopeful these two also get all their flowers visited.

What beautiful plants! I can't say that I've ever seen these in cultivation. Are they actually part of your collection or are they plants you found? Regardless, that's really something special. Keep up the good work!

They are endemic for the region I stay in; got them from a nearby private forest which is under pressure.

Thanks. This specie is still part of my introduction to this fantastic forum, it gives away the country I live in.

Sure. Not only because of the name, but also according the book I follow, Orchids of Kenya by Joyce Stewart, this specie is only found in Kenya.
