Blooming later than its orange and pink companions, this terrestrial mini is only 6" (15.2cm) tall including the flower spike. The 1.25" (3.2cm) wide flowers are pristine white with a long green nectary behind, visible in the side shot. These will all go dormant very shortly and I wil stop watering them entirely. Once they have dried out completely, each will go into a ziplock sandwich bag to keep them from being accidentally watered and then placed in an area of indirect light in the GH until tax day (April 15), when they will be removed from their bags, set back in cattleya light and watering will gradually begin again.

Such a pretty species. Thank you also for sharing your cultivation tips.
