IMG_2673.JPG I'm inspired by the elaborate grow areas I've seen others post, and doing some thinking. This is our greatroom as we call it, and the place my orchids like most (faces East.) It does get an hour or so of direct morning sun during some winter months, but it doesn't seem to bother them. I'm thinking a deeper window sill. A greenhouse window might be too much for the living room and a tough sell for the hubby. Maybe a shallow console table right in front of the window would work too, but still trying to figure out window coverings after all these years... In the meantime, some consistent pot colors in all terra-cotta will make it look organized so that I can keep collecting :)
