It was a gorgeous Saturday couple weeks ago. Three hours on the boat, travelling from Vancouver island to the mainland. I have tried my new camera and lens.

Congratulations, supurb images and what looks like an invigorating walk on the wildside. You mention a new camera, can i ask which make and model? I also have purchased a new camera, a Nikon 3200 together with a Tamron macro lense. Fingers crossed I hope to be able to capture images as good as the ones posted here.

Looking forward to see your photos. My macro lens Put orchid photography on the new level.

I am a "Canonist". It was Canon 70D camera and EF 70-200 f/4 L USM lens. Perhaps not the best lens for the bear photography, but it was a compromiss between cost, possibilities to take photos of wildlife and flower photography.
