Grammatophyllum scriptum var. Leopard

This is the only one of the Grammatophyllum that I have had trouble growing in the past. I thought I would give up on this species, but I was seduced by the lovely flowers of this variety. Hopefully this time the plant will do well.

 

Perhaps the most startling thing, I brought this huge plant at a hardware store. The last place I would have thought would bring anything beyond the cheapest, throw away orchids.
