A cross between a Grammatophyllum and a Bromheadia. I have trouble finding the influence of the Bromheadia on this hybrid. Initially, these plants were slow growing and seemed uninclined to bloom. But once they reached adult size they have been blooming well year after year. The three plants I have are all slightly different in flowers size, color and number of flowers per inflorescence. The inflorescences are about four feet long, maybe more and weight so much I had to counter weight the plant so it would not flip to its side. gramm1.jpg gramm2.jpg

Very interesting cross. If you have 3 of these and can't part with one, I can see why you have trouble downsizing. I have the same trouble myself.
