I think I lost couple spikes during last month - maybe it was too hot?- but finally my first flower appeared.

A great species. Everyone should grow it.

That looks like an interesting plant when not in bloom. Wonderful. Is one bloom per inflorescence typical?

They will get clusters of flowers as the plant gets bigger.

Piotr, 2 things I lack to answer your question with confidence: a good memory and a good blooming on a fuscopunctatus right now. Three is common, but I think I have 4 or 5 at times on 1 spike. But it may be I'm just not looking closely and what I remember seeing is a couple of spikes very close together.

You are probably right, Piotr. I just went out an looked at the old spikes and they are clustered together so that what I thought was more flowers was more spikes.

Zach- just came across the post. I picked mine up at Oak Hill before it was sold to the Ackers. I know that they lost some plants in the transaction, for one reason or another. If you are still looking for one, they may be a source. If not, I may have a piece for you in the future.

It does quite well, but my decide rather flower in sequence, some older already gone, and many new buds still forming - still very happy with it. Now only wish left - to get some branches like on Marni's plant.
