An easy miniature that forms mats and trails off the mount.
I like this kind of plant habit. What temperature range does it like?
I've never heard about it before!!

Kelly, it comes from a wide range of elevations so you would think it should be adaptable or at least some clones could fit into different temperature ranges. I have grown it cool where it had trouble, but that may have been water quality and bush snails. I now grow several clones and they are all in the intermediate house. I'm sure you could find a place in your conditions that would make it happy. I love gastrochilus, especially these small, mat-forming varieties. The flowers last pretty well and it can bloom multiple times per year.
