Galeandra devoniana in situ

    Another find in the flooded Rio Negro, this time a more frequently occurring plant.
    It was usually on trees , IMG_3247 (695x1024).jpg above the water line in good light, but this specimen was rooted
    on a floating log of driftwood , with an aroid partner.!

    Very nice! That looks pretty sizable. But I have to think it's not going to do very well once that log falls apart/sinks.
