Hi. I’m hoping someone can identify my orchid. I don’t recall the name but was told it is fragrant. I made a mistake and planted it but it’s been removed from the ground!

    Welcome to the forum.

That appears to be a Maxillaria tenuifolia although there are many other species or hybrids it could be. Planting it in soil will quickly kill it so I hope it wasn’t like that very long. In nature it would grow on a tree trunk or branch and in cultivation it needs to be potted in bark or tied to a stick. I hope it is still alive.
