First time flasking

    Thanks Marni, the mother plant is Neo. falcata X sib and the seed pods are X self. We did not add anything to the medium (just P668) do you think that it just ran out of nutrition at 100 days? Are Neofinetias high feeders or is the medium low in nutrition?

    I doubt it had exhausted the medium at 100 days. For the ones that did brown off, it was usually after 6 months. And that was only some species. Neofinetia seem to hold well in flask without dying back. If you have several shelves, one above the other, the lights underneath can add heat to the flasks just above them. There are a lot of ways things can go wrong with flask. :)
