    Have had this about 7 years, outdoors all year. 3rd pic is of the shade area where it and several other orchids and other plants grow happily.

    Your long wait paid off! 7 years is a long time to wait though. Nevertheless, these are real beauties. I have a small one, and I suppose I may have to wait 7 years as well. Another good reason to go to Santa Barbara in July so I can see theirs in bloom. Did you get yours at SBOE? They have a very nice specimen.

    We got this from Andys orchids 7 years ago, it flowers every year like this. Plant has been on Sam mount since Andys sold it to me.
