    Aside from the Philippines, also found in Thailand, peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, and Borneo.
    The plant has been grown outside under the trees in a pot for many years hence the foliage looks horrible. I posted a photo from several years ago, and I noticed that the spikes are shorter now and the blooms open more sequentially. There are sixteen spikes in all.
