Epidendrum escobarianum

    This species has been a challenge for me to grow and I have killed 3 or 4 to get to this point. Last year this plant had 2 flowers--this year 10! Grown intermediate near the east wall of the greenhouse. Limited direct sun, as the greenhouse is shaded by several trees.

    Very exciting! I've been looking for any species from this group of epidendrums because the purple stripes on the foliage are incredible
