Epidendrum bianthogastrium

    I bought this from Andy's in February at the POE. This is labelled as Epidendrum bianthogastrium (sp. aff. quisayanum). Andy had this species as well as E. quisayanum there at the show. The quisayanum was in bloom and was a green-cream color. I'm glad I got this one.

    There are only a few flowers open right now but there are a ton of buds. I didn't measure the flowers but they are about 1/2 inch across. For scale it is in a 4 inch basket. This looks like it will turn into a cascading plant.
