This cool-growing Mexican mini, now blooming on two spikes on a smallish plant just a few growths. I give this cattleya light, and grow it cooler, in a small clay pot in a fine bark mix. FLowers 3.3cm, plant about 20cm tall. Provides a bright spot in the winter, and a lot of show for a small plant.

Brilliantly I have tried this species a couple of time but have not been successful. What's your watering regimen?

I hit it when I water the catts, unless it's in spike. That's usually once a week, twice a week during the summer. If it's in spike I may hit it every couple days to keep it from drying out too much. It's in a rather small, slotted clay pot.
