Encyclia = Euchile

    I have a hybrid getting ready to bloom. One of the parents is Encyclia mariae. Has RHS moved it back to Encyclia from Euchile.

    I think the acepted name for RHS is Prosthechea mariae. I never bother to change the genus name for my vitelina and mariae. They remain as Encyclia.

    Thanks Tom, that is the accepted name by RHS. When crossing with an Encyclia the genus name is Prosyclia.
