    Hey all,

I have two Phals that are each on their second blooming cycle. After their first spikes dried up, I cut them off and their new spikes and buds grew in remarkably quickly (a little over one month). But over the last week and a half or so, some of the buds (mostly the oldest ones) have started to droop down and inwards. One plant has a single bloom that looks quite healthy, but it too is drooping slightly inwards. I remember during the first blooming cycle, the flowers and buds all stood proudly upright and outwards!

I've been careful to water only when the roots turn silver and only fertilizing about every 3rd watering with half strength fertilizer. They live on my kitchen table, which is near the south-facing glass porch door. It is December in Colorado, so the days here are rather short. Could that be the issue? Admittedly, I still haven't re-potted them from the moss they came in.

Does anybody know what could be going on or if this is normal?

    Thanks!
