A medium-sized cool-to cold growing epiphyte from Colombia. I got this rom Ecuagenera in May, and this is the first time it blooms for me. I love it, especially the view from the side/back! :) I grow it in the cool vivarium in a mesh pot with EpiWeb substrate, shady, humid, and with good air circulation. More photos on the blog.

    Dracula velutina (Rchb.f.) Luer, Selbyana 2: 198 (1978).

Very nice Karma! I'm new to keeping Dracs, but I think they are very interested orchids.

Thanks!! I love this genus. They can be a bit more finicky about RH than Masdevallia, otherwise I grow them about the same.
