Dogs and summer

    My dogs love this time of year. Mattie and Clarice have been spending a lot of time out by the pond and the trees hunting and exploring. I went out there this evening to see what they were up to, but they saw me before I could sneak up on them. They decided it was time to play ball.

    My goodness, Clarice is a big girl now. How old is

    she? She is certainly a princess like all your other girls! Does one's heart
    good to see happy, healthy dogs playing, doesn't it? Such a beauty.

    That's an Invisible Fence® receiver. Mattie needs one, Clarice doesn't. At least not yet.

    I suppose you have the tortoises rigged up with collars too. Hate to have one of them run off.

    My dog is trained to come back.
