Dichaea calyculata - was species

    Acquired as Dichaea trulla. It isn't if the photograph in the CD Orchids of Colombia is to be trusted. Anyone recognize it? Flowers are strongly scented of cloves and c. 1/2" tall.

    Yeah, I wanted another trulla, but I'm not disappointed.

    That is pretty much like that one shown at Ecuagenera. IOSPE has three photos and two of them look like yours.

    Thanks, Tom. This plant came from Ecuagenera. Jay usually uses the names supplied to him by the photo donors, so I'm always a little suspicious because of that. According to the photo in Orchids of Colombia the flower in the image below is D. trulla.

    SOT also used Ecugenera's picture for D. trulla. Still a bit confusing. A lot of clean-ups to do in this genus.
