A very common deciduous dendrobium grow around my place. They usually grow on a tree. I picked this one from a coffee tree some years back. Mounted it on a piece of coffee wood.
This is the first time I saw a flower opens. Before, I always thought they never fully open. As I never witnessed the flowers open.
The flowers size are less than 1 cm. Could you see those purple stripes in the lip?
May be somebody know the id

With that many capsules, does it self pollinate?

I guess there are pollinators around. I think that is why the one I plant at home open for some days, as there are no pollinators present.
